A Canvas to address an initial Problem Statement

How you start usually determines the outcome of the project.

Recently while brainstorming my teams and I were exploring multiple ways to begin our design process while addressing an initial problem statement. I’ve always believed that how you start working on a project, product, platform, engagement, service or experience, usually determines the outcome of the project.

And, ofcourse a Creative or a Design Process is by no means a small framework or springboard for ideas. It’s massive and extensive. You have to begin somewhere, start evaluating your thoughts, ideas, products. So, the next time you start your observations, explorations, initial research or ideation, I hope this framework will help you at the start of your process.

This doesn’t mean that you can skip your or any universally used Design or Creative Process. Just treat this a canvas to address an initial Problem Statement as you explore and observe.
